On April 21st, 2018, [FAT] Fashion Art Toronto presented “A Rolling Runway”, a fashion show showcasing the works of @mailroomofficial and @lfnt_. This unique runway experience took place on a vintage TTC streetcar, and was curated to display the designers’ upcoming collection inspired by each other’s unique approaches to fashion art.

Liam Wilkings, creator of Mailroom Official, is a custom accessories designer working in a variety of silvers and hardware. Lexson Millington, creator of LFNT, focuses on “reconstruction of destruction”, where he pulls apart pieces that were once undesirable and refurbishes them. Incorporating chain links and pins into their attire, the collaborators produced an array of conceptual styles to be explored. 

I teamed up with the designers, DJ, and photographers to utilize installation, music, and new media in the mobile runway experience. The presentation took place aboard a re-purposed TTC streetcar and ran 6 sold out shows of 30 audience members each.
