With this data analysis project I examine barriers to female mobile phone ownership in lower and middle income countries and the subsequent divide that exists in terms of female economic and educational growth across the globe. Through visualizing multiple open source data sets using Excel and data-mapping software Tableau I aim to shed light on the widening gender gap in technology access and consequent detriments to female development.
