Developing relationships between creative and urban spaces and people that occupy them...
The Mother’sNature is a synthetic environment inspired by the natural world. Bringingtogether horticultural and new media practices, the Mother’s Natureconcentrates on the metaphor of the city as its own living organism and bringsattention to developments in horticulture for the urban environment, urbanfarming, and other sustainability efforts for city living. The installation isan homage to the inherent psychological connections humans have to nature –elements as dismissible as our circadian rhythms and other subtleenvironment-influenced phenomena that impact us even while living in theconcrete jungle.
